The company’s video casts the humanoid as a bodyguard and rescuer, but Unitree has not confirmed whether its stunts are autonomous or shown that it can respond safely to real threats.

Unitree’s H2-X showcases kicks, jumps and car lifting
Unitree Robotics’ promotional video introduces the H2-X as a “Kung Fu Legend: Guardian.” The footage shows the humanoid kicking cars, jumping and acting in staged security and rescue scenarios, including lifting the front of a car. South China Morning Post reported that Unitree did not say whether the actions were autonomous, remote-controlled or choreographed.
Unitree promotes up to eight hours of operation, but that figure refers to the robot remaining upright, according to Metro Ecuador. The company has not released full specifications, pricing or a sales date, Vietnam.vn reported. South China Morning Post also noted that the video does not establish whether the H2-X can independently identify a threat and respond safely in an unplanned situation.
