Bisping: UFC's 'Undeniable' Hints at Next Foes for Gaethje, Pimblett

Michael Bisping is convinced UFC's new show, Undeniable, is doing more than entertaining fans. According to Bloody Elbow, the former middleweight champion believes the series is quietly signaling how the promotion plans to book the next fights for both Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett.

Gaethje enters the conversation, and he is coming off one of the biggest performances of his career. His Elo rating stands at 1579 across six tracked bouts in our system.

Pimblett, meanwhile, keeps climbing the same division. He sits at number five in the lightweight rankings after submitting Benoit Saint Denis with a D'Arce choke just fifty two seconds into their July 11 bout. His Elo mark stands at 1564, also built from six fights on our tracker.

Bisping did not lay out exact names in his comments, but the fact that he is pointing to Undeniable as a signal for both men's futures is notable given where they sit in the division. Ilia Topuria is the man everyone in the 155 pound weight class is chasing, and Pimblett has positioned himself as one of the sport's most talked about rising stars with his win streak and ranking climb.

Whatever the show ends up revealing, the timing lines up with a lightweight picture that is very much in motion. Gaethje just delivered a statement finish, and Pimblett has quietly built enough momentum to be part of that title conversation sooner rather than later. If Bisping is right that UFC is using its own programming to tip its hand, fans may not have to wait long to find out who lines up across from either man next.
