UFC officials confirmed to MMAmania that three fighters were transported to a local hospital for precautionary evaluations following UFC 332 on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The move came after a night of finishes that left more than one fighter needing scans before anyone was comfortable sending them home.
Bloody Elbow reports that one of those fighters suffered a broken jaw after absorbing an illegal strike, one that commentator Joe Rogan reportedly figured would have ended the fight on its own even before the foul was called. Two of the three hospitalized fighters have been identified as Court McGee and Andrey Pulyaev, and both were on the wrong end of finishes themselves.
McGee dropped a decision via knockout loss to Eric Nolan, stopped by punches in round three at the 3:26 mark. Pulyaev's night ended even faster, finished by Damian Pinas with punches just 1:15 into round one. Our Elo model has McGee at 1455 across four tracked bouts and Pulyaev at 1484 across five, numbers that reflect two fighters who were live underdogs walking into finishes rather than long, grinding wars.
The hospital trips came on a card that otherwise delivered a changing of the guard at women's flyweight. Natalia Silva, the division's number one ranked contender carrying a 1616 Elo rating built over seven bouts, won the title with a unanimous decision over Wang Cong in the main event.
None of the three hospitalized fighters have had updates on their conditions reported beyond the broken jaw diagnosis. Precautionary hospital visits after a loaded fight card are common, but three in one night, with one confirmed fracture, says plenty about how violent this particular edition of UFC 332 turned out to be.
