Lucero Acosta's PFL Wardrobe Slip Turns Into $500K OnlyFans Spike

A costume malfunction during her PFL Chicago debut loss to Shannon Clark has sent Lucero Acosta's OnlyFans subscriptions surging, Bloody Elbow reports.

Lucero Acosta's first walk into a PFL cage did not go the way she wanted, but the fallout outside of it might be the bigger story. The 32 year old, fighting under the nickname 'La Loba,' was stopped in the third round of her PFL Chicago debut against Shannon Clark this past weekend.

According to Bloody Elbow, the moment that is now dominating her timeline came while Clark had her pinned against the cage, when Acosta suffered a wardrobe malfunction in front of the live crowd and broadcast cameras. MMA Mania, which also covered the incident, framed it as a rough night in the cage that turned into a potentially massive payday outside of it.

Bloody Elbow reports that the viral moment has translated into roughly 500,000 dollars in new OnlyFans revenue for Acosta, a staggering number for a fighter who was already known to MMA fans for her viral underwater workout videos and her time competing in Combate Global before signing with PFL.

The profile also touched on parts of Acosta's personal history away from the cage. "I was married in California and suffered domestic violence," she told Bloody Elbow, giving fans a glimpse into a backstory well beyond the clip currently circulating online.

For PFL, the attention is a mixed bag. It puts a spotlight on a promotion still building its women's divisions, but it also means one of its newest signees is trending for reasons that have nothing to do with her striking or grappling. Whether the attention translates into more fights or bigger paydays inside the cage is a separate question from the one her bank account just answered.
