Ukraine expands ground-robot fleet as mud and winter put it to the test
Business Insider reports that Ukraine’s military and industry have prioritized fielding ground robots, while seasonal conditions could challenge their mobility, batteries and equipment.

Ukraine’s ground robots face seasonal tests
Ukraine’s ground-robot fleet has expanded and advanced since last winter, Business Insider reported, as the country’s military and industry prioritize robots for attacks, intelligence gathering, carrying gear and evacuating wounded people. In March, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said more than 20,000 ground robotic systems had been contracted since the start of the year, almost twice the number contracted in all of 2025.
Oleksandr Yabchanka, head of robotic systems for the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion, told Business Insider that the systems’ range and off-road mobility are increasing. He said autumn mud would provide a test of how much they had improved. Mud and snow can slow or trap wheeled and tracked robots, while cold can drain batteries and mud, snow or condensation can obscure cameras and hinder equipment.
NHRL’s final Pro Tour qualifier is set for November 7
The National Havoc Robot League’s third and final Pro Tour event of the season is scheduled for November 7 at the House of Havoc in Norwalk, Connecticut, DAZN reported. The event is the last qualifying opportunity before the NHRL Pro World Championships on December 5.
Robots will compete in 3-pound, 12-pound and 30-pound divisions, with the top four in each class earning championship places. DAZN identified Gargantuan, winner of the 30-pound division at September’s Pro Tour, and reigning 30-pound world champion KaZaA Lite among the competitors. The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. ET, and DAZN says it will stream live for free.
Wuzhen expo features humanoid robot boxing demonstration
The 2026 “Internet Light” Expo opened November 2 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang, with 671 companies from 54 countries and regions exhibiting more than 1,000 new technologies and products, Guangming Online reported. The event’s theme is “Intelligent Connectivity, Insight into the Future.”
At a “BOT SHOW” ring, Unitree humanoid robots performed a boxing demonstration, wearing headgear and gloves and simulating punches and dodges. The robots used dynamic-balance algorithms, drawing crowds of visitors who stopped to film the performance, Guangming Online reported.
Ultimate Bots updates TwitchCon San Diego dates, but leaves fight details unannounced
Ultimate Bots’ schedule now lists its Season 2 opening stop at TwitchCon San Diego for November 13 to 15, 2026, matching TwitchCon’s dates, according to Roboxing home’s November 3 review of the schedule. The listing includes a link to TwitchCon pass sales.
The league has not published a start time, fight card, pairings, stream schedule or the convention day on which the fights will take place. Roboxing home said the schedule does not clarify whether a TwitchCon pass includes access to UFB fights or whether separate seats are sold.
Ragdoll Robot Boxing guides promote free Spins and Gears
Eurogamer and Pro Game Guides published November 2026 guides to Ragdoll Robot Boxing codes, with Eurogamer describing Spins and Gears as rewards players can use to unlock robots in the Roblox fighting game. Eurogamer said codes are shared in the game’s Discord server and identified its list as current as of November 3.
Eurogamer also described the game as robot-versus-robot boxing in which players try to knock down opponents, and said its guide includes instructions for redeeming codes.
