McKenzie replaces Campbell as Reyna injury clouds USMNT plans
Mark McKenzie has replaced George Campbell on the U.S. men’s national team roster for its Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals against Haiti. The United States faces Haiti on Nov. 14 in Miami and Nov. 17 in Cincinnati.
Gio Reyna’s availability is in question after the Strasbourg midfielder scored against Toulouse on Friday, then left three minutes later with what ESPN described as an apparent left-thigh injury. Reyna had been named to the roster and started all four U.S. matches in the September-October window, recording two assists. McKenzie also scored in Toulouse’s 3-1 win.
