Bafode Gassama is bringing his unbeaten record into the PFL cage. The French champion will make his promotional debut against Coby Bradford in a light heavyweight bout at PFL Lyon on December 19, with the booking confirmed by both Sherdog and MiddleEasy.

The card lands at LDLC Arena, giving Gassama a chance to introduce himself to the PFL audience on home soil in France. For a fighter who has yet to taste defeat, stepping into a new organization in front of a hometown crowd is about as favorable a stage as it gets.

Bradford represents the first test of that unbeaten run inside PFL's cage. Light heavyweight debuts like this one matter for a promotion that has leaned heavily on expanding its international footprint, and a Lyon card built around a hometown prospect fits that pattern.

Neither outlet detailed what else will fill out the Lyon card, but the matchup itself is a significant booking for now. Gassama arrives with a championship pedigree from outside the organization, and PFL will be looking to see whether that status translates against Bradford in his first appearance under its banner.

December 19 marks the moment their unbeaten champion steps into a new league, and Lyon gets to watch it happen live. Whether that unbeaten record stays intact will depend entirely on how he handles Bradford on home turf, but the opportunity to debut in front of a supportive crowd is exactly the kind of start a rising prospect wants.
